2013 INFORMATION: Drumline Pres-season Camp and Season Expectations
Expectations:
Drumline members must attend the Pre-season Drumline Camp
listed below in order to perform with the 2013 Drumline, unless
absence is pre-approved by Dr.
Lubaroff
Fall Camp:
*Tentatively begins on Wednesday, August 14, 2013
Students in residence halls are allowed to move to campus on
Wednesday, August 14, at no additional charge.
*The possibility of beginning one day earlier (August 13, 2013) is
being investigated. Exact starting date should be available by
the time of the Drumline Audition date.
Sectionals:
Drumline battery members
must meet for a mandatory 1-2 hour sectional each week, outside of
the scheduled marching band time. A regularly scheduled rehearsal
time will be determined according to coordinator/student
availability.
Show Music:
Please check the
Athletic Bands page this summer to
download your 2013 Show Music (Date(s) of availability will be
announced).
Post-season:
Drumline members that are receiving scholarships in
music, and/or are music majors, must continue in Symphonic Band at
the conclusion of the regular marching season. Please note the
potential post-season
NCAA Tournaments performance(s) and the policy
in the Marching Mules Handbook.
