The Athletic Bands at the University of Central Missouri offer opportunities for both music majors and non-majors. The Marching Mules number over 160 each season. A Basketball Pep Band of 30 students is selected each fall from the Marching Mules. The Marching Mules are proud to perform regularly for the Fighting Mules Football team, when schedules allow, for the Kansas City Chiefs, and to have hosted the Festival of Champions (formerly Music Bowl Missouri) for 28 years. The Festival of Champions is scheduled at UCM on October 24, 2009!
