Electroacoustic music will be accepted for diffusion over 1-8 channels, with available subwoofer channel (8.1 maximum). The music technology program is a major focus of the Department of Music at UCM; we will be able to meet any reasonable technical requirements.
Available technology includes:
- Mac Intel 8-core with
- Pro Tools HD3|Accel & 192I/O
- Logic Studio
- Max 5 and Max/MSP 4.6.3 + Jitter 1.5
- Mac or Windows XP laptops
- Playback via CD, DVD, DVD-A, DAT, ADAT, sound file
- Video projection
- Kyma X w/ expanded Capybara 320 (12 processors, 4 inputs & outputs) + Wacom tablet
- Kurzweil K2600XS and other synths
- Yamaha DM1000v2 mixer, microphones, outboard equipment, etc.
