Construction Management Program Earns Continued ACCE Accreditation
Contact: Mike Greife
WARRENSBURG, MO (Sept. 22, 2011) – The Board of Trustees of the American Council for Construction Education has announced the renewal of accreditation of the Construction Management Program at the University of Central Missouri. The program, housed in the has maintained the stringent standards of ACCE and has proven to the board, through a visiting team of its peers and industry practitioners, that the program is worthy of continued accreditation.
UCM’s Construction Management Program prepares individuals to enter and prosper in a construction management career by focusing on the production of the “built environment.” The curriculum has been carefully balanced to provide the graduates with the technical theory, “hands on” knowledge, management skill, and communication know-how needed to manage the construction process from beginning to end.
The American Council for Construction Education was established in 1974 to be a leading global advocate of quality construction education and to promote, support, and accredit quality construction education programs around the world. ACCE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as the accrediting agency for four-year baccalaureate degree programs in construction, construction science, construction management and construction technology, and the accrediting agency for two-year associate degree programs of similar nature.
