Contact: Jeff Murphy
WARRENSBURG, MO (Aug. 19, 2010) –When Charles Ambrose presents his first State of the University address as president of the University of Central Missouri, those who are not able to attend the event can still see and hear his presentation live, even if they are thousands of miles across the globe.
Ambrose’s speech will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, in Hendricks Hall of UCM’s Administration Building. The address will be available online via streaming video at www.ucmo.edu/about/president/stream and presented on local radio station KOKO AM 1450. Individuals who live in the Kansas City metropolitan area have the opportunity to see a live video presentation of the speech in Room 145 of the UCM Summit Center, 850 NW Chipman Road, Lee’s Summit.
This is the first time UCM has made possible a live video or radio presentation of the State of the University address. Ambrose began his new duties as Central Missouri’s 15th president on Aug. 1.
