Art Gallery Features Senior Exhibits
Contact: Mike Greife
WARRENSBURG - 11/02/2007 -As they prepare to launch their professional careers, UCM’s senior art and design students will present the Graduation Design Senior Show in the UCM Art Center Gallery Nov. 5-16.
Interior design and graphic design students in the Department of Art planning to receive degrees in December will present their work as a degree requirement. Exhibits will feature the best work from their college careers, along with projects developed in collaboration with faculty advisors. Students also will receive valuable feedback from design professionals as they critique student portfolios in conjunction with the exhibit.
The public is invited to meet the students during a reception planned for 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the Art Center Gallery.
The gallery, located in the UCM Art Center at 217 E. Clark, is open to the public, free of charge, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday while school is in session. For more information about the gallery or upcoming exhibits, contact Michael Crane, art center gallery director, at 660-543-4498.
