Gallery of Art and Design Hosts Faculty Exhibition

WARRENSBURG, MO (Aug. 22, 2008) – The UCM Gallery of Art and Design opens its 2008-2009 season with a new name and an exciting exhibit of works by current and emeriti faculty from the UCM Department of Art and Design.
A Diverse Study of Faculty Talent
The 2008 Faculty Exhibition will run Aug. 25 through Sept. 25, presenting a diverse study of works in various media, including painting, drawing, fibers, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, video, small metals, and design.
Meet the Artists at the Opening Reception
The public is invited to an opening reception from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, in the gallery, located in the UCM Art Center at 217 E. Clark St. in Warrensburg. The gallery is open to the public from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesdays, 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. Saturdays, or by appointment. Admission is free, and groups are welcome.
