Department of Theatre and Dance Presents 'Blue Window"

The University of Central Missouri Department of Theatre and Dance presents the mainstage productionof Blue Windowby Craig Lucas Nov. 13-17 in the James L. Highlander Theatre. Curtain time is 7:30 p.m. for all performances of the play, which is recommended for a mature audience. Children under the age of 5 years will not be admitted.
Tickets are available through the theatre box office in the lobby of the Highlander theatre from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. weekdays. Ticket prices are $12 for the general public, $10 for UCM faculty, staff, and senior citizens, and $7 for students. Tickets also may be reserved by calling 660-543-8811.
Blue Windowis a contemporary comedy that provides a glimpse into the lives of seven characters as they wisecrack and laugh their way through an evening dinner party in New York City. The colorful cast of characters represent a cross-section of modern day society searching for kinship and acceptance in this wacky world.
Richard Herman, professor and chair of the Department of Theatre, is director for the production. UCM students featured in this production are Meg Aleshire as Libby; Devin Burns as Griever; Maggie Quinn as Alice; Katie Turnbow as Boo; Aaron Scully as Norbert; Joe Reece as Tom; and Emmy Panzica as Emily.
