Central Missouri Repertory Announces 2013 Summer Season

WARRENSBURG, MO (May 30, 2013) -The University of Central Missouri's Central Missouri Repertory Theatre celebrates its 32nd annual summer season of theatre with the production of I Think I Can, a touring children’s show written by Kathryn Shultz and Barry Miller, with music by Bruce Bowdon.
The musical telling an inspiring story of a young girl who is not sure about her dreams. However, with the help of her interesting friends, she learns dream can come true.
I Think I Can will be presented at:
- 10 a.m. June 11 at 10 a.m. at Henry Elementary School in Clinton
- 10 a.m. June 13 at Grover Park in Warrensburg
- 10 a.m. June 14 at the Farris Theatre in Richmond
- 3 p.m. June 17 at the Whiteman Air Force Base Community Center
- 10 a.m. June 19 at Carrollton Elementary School.
In addition, the company will perform at the Ronald McDonald House at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City on 1 p.m. June 18. All performances open to the public and free of charge.
Julie Rae Mollenkamp, professor of theater, is directing the production. The cast includes Daniel Parman, Nellie Maple, Angie Benson, and Bethanie Million. Company members are Audra Viele, stage manager and sound designer; Sayali Indulkar, public relations and tour manager; Kayla Lopez, costume and makeup designer; Elizabeth Conant, scenic designer and technical director; and Geoffrey Pottorff, scene shop staff.
