Nicholas Mortallaro |
UCM alumnus Nicholas Mortallaro, and agent for State Farm Insurance in Grain Valley, Mo., will be the speaker for the event. A 2005 graduate of UCM, he had originally planned to attend law school. However, a conversation with another UCM graduate who would soon become a third generation agent with State Farm led him to the entrepreneurial opportunities offered by State Farm.
Mortallaro recently built his own office building in Grain Valley and leads the state of Missouri in auto policies and other lines of insurance. His goal is to continue to build his business for the next 20 years and retire at the age of 50. Mortallaro will share his story of creating and living his dream, how he is helping others to build their dreams, and what they forget to tell you about building your own business.
The Entrepreneur Lecture Series will feature area entrepreneurs telling the stories of their successes, failures, and lessons learned in four, two-hour lecture events during 2013. Each event will begin with a short reception, followed by a 45-minute lecture and questions and answers. There is no charge to participants to attend.
Although there is no charge for attendance, registration is requested to assure adequate preparation. Registration may be completed on line at the-ezone.org.
The Entrepreneur Lecture Series is sponsored by State Farm.
