Flagpole Dedication Highlight of Veterans Day Ceremony

WARRENSBURG, MO (Nov. 7, 2012) – The public is invited to attend a Veterans Day ceremony at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, to dedicate a flag and flagpole erected in front of the Audrey J. Walton Clubhouse at the University of Central Missouri’s Keth Memorial Golf Course in Pertle Springs.
The dedication will include remarks by Lynn Lowder, director of military and veteran services, and Jenne Vanderbout, assistant vice president for alumni and constituent relations. It will be followed by a reception inside the clubhouse. The flag and flagpole were funded by gifts from some 20 donors in honor of UCM veterans.
