Marston to Present 2010 Hibdon Honorary Lecture in Geography

WARRENSBURG, MO (April 2, 2010) – Richard Marston, professor of geography and chair of the Department of Geography at Kansas State University, will deliver the 2010 Hibdon Honorary Lecture at noon Monday, April 5, in Elliott Union 235.
Marston will present "Land, Life, and Environmental Change in the Himalaya." The public is invited to attend, and refreshments will be served.
The Hibdon Honorary Lecture is presented annually by the UCM Department of Geography to honor the legacy of the late Howard Hibdon, professor emeritus of geography at UCM. Hibdon's good will and dedication to geography impacted thousands of students during his nearly 50 years as a professor on the UCM campus.
