Bhattarai, Frizzell Named 2010 Homecoming Royalty

Drew Frizzell and Jackie Bhattarai were crowned King and Queen of UCM’s 2010 Homecoming celebration.
WARRENSBURG, MO (Oct. 25, 2009) – Jackie Bhattarai, a senior psychology and Spanish major from Warrensburg, and Drew Frizzell, a senior public relations major from Chillicothe, were crowned Queen and King of the University of Central Missouri’s 2010 Homecoming festivities. The coronation ceremony took place during halftime of the Homecoming football game Saturday, Oct. 23, at UCM’s Audrey J. Walton Stadium.
Bhattarai is the daughter of Keshav and Meena Bhattarai of Warrensburg and a 2007 graduate of Warrensburg High School. She was sponsored by Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She has been active in numerous community service projects and has served as an officer in Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, Psi Chi and Psychology Club.
Frizzell is the son of Lisa Frizzell and the late David Frizzell of Chillicothe and a 2006 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He was sponsored by Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He has been active in numerous community service projects and fraternity leadership and fundraising. He also is a national champion student athlete at UCM in track and field.
Announcement of the Homecoming royalty was a highlight of Homecoming weekend, which included the presentation of UCM’s Distinguished Alumni and Distinguished International Alumni awards, the Homecoming parade, and numerous campus activities for UCM students.
