Hubbard Receives UCM Outstanding Support Staff Award

WARRENSBURG, MO (May 10, 2010) – Patricia Hubbard, office professional in the Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Physics at UCM, recently received the first UCM Outstanding Support Staff Award. Peggy Harrison, president of the UCM Support Staff Council, presented Hubbard with the award at the annual Support Staff Recognition Breakfast.
Nominated by her peers, Hubbard was recognized for her dedication to her job, offering assistance in a variety of ways to faculty, staff and students, along with her commitment to encouraging and helping students reach their educational goals.
Hubbard has worked as an Office Professional III for the Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry and Physics since 1999. She resides near Odessa with her husband, Gene. Their family includes two sons and their wives and four grandchildren.
The Outstanding Support Staff Award is presented annually to recognize the dedication and outstanding service of a member of the university support staff, based upon nominations by peers.
