Demonstration Features Native Korean Dance |

WARRENSBURG - 10/30/2006 -
Hyun-Joo Kim, a South Korean professional dancer and educator, will present a demonstration of traditional Korean dance at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, in UCM's Hart Recital Hall in the Utt Music Building.
Demonstration Followed by Questions and Answers

Her presentation will include an introduction, followed by a demonstration of the traditional Korean dance and a question and answer session. The event is free and open to the public.
Named a Preserver of Traditional Dances
Kim earned bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Dong Duk Women's University in Seoul, South Korea, between 1991 and 2006. In 1997 she was appointed as a preserver of two kinds of traditional Korean dances, which she teachers to her students. She has toured and performed these dances in Korea, Italy, Taiwan, Japan and the United States.
