Department of Theatre Presents "Lost in Yonkers" Feb. 17-21

WARRENSBURG, MO (Feb. 8, 2009) - Tickets are now available for the UCM Department of Theatre mainstage production of Lost in Yonkers.
Under the direction of John Wilson, professor of theatre, Neil’s Simon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 17-20, with a matinee performance at 2 p.m. Feb. 21. All performances are in the Highlander Theatre.
What happens to children in the absence of love? That question lies at the heart of this funny and heartrending story by one of America’s most acclaimed and beloved playwrights. Winner of four Tony Awards, including Best Play, in addition to the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Lost in Yonkers also is a moving drama about the cruelties and painful memories that scar a family.
Tickets to Lost in Yonkers are available to season ticket holders Feb. 8 and will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 10. Admission is $12 for the general public; $10 for UCM faculty, staff and senior citizens; and $7 for students. Call the box office at 660-543-8811 to make reservations between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. All seats are reserved. No children under the age of 5 will be admitted to the production.
