Vendor Deadline Extended for Military and Veterans Resource Event

WARRENSBURG, MO (March 19, 2013) – The registration deadline for businesses and organizations that want to participate in the second annual Military and Veterans Resource Event Friday, April 5 at the University of Central Missouri has been extended. Vendors that provide services to active duty service members and veterans will have until 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 to register for the event.
There is no cost to attend or to sponsor a booth during the event. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ballroom of the Elliott Union.
According to Delilah Nichols, coordinator of Military and Veteran Services at UCM, the purpose of the event is to provide individuals who are serving or have served their country information about the different types of resources that are available to them. Vendors from surrounding communities are welcome to participate. A wide range of vendors are sought, including organizations representing military service members, businesses that hire veterans, military benefit organizations, and much more.
Pertinent information will be provided to vendors at the time of registration. A registration form is available on the Military and Veteran Services website at ucmo.edu/vets/news.cfm. Individuals who have questions are encouraged to contact Delilah Nichols, Office of Military and Veterans Services, at 660-543-8776.
