Local Artists, Luehrman Exhibit Works in Annual Summer Show

WARRENSBURG, MO (July 8, 2008) - Area artists and Richard Luehrman, UCM professor emeritus of art, will exhibit their work as UCM's Art Center Gallery hosts the two shows July 8-25.
Mid-Missouri Artists will host its annual Members Show in the main gallery, and Luehrman will show a concurrent exhibit, "The Artist Meanders," in the outer gallery.
Variety of Works on Display
The Mid-Missouri Artists show will feature works in two dimensional art, ceramics, photography and textiles. Luehrman, who taught at UCM from 1965 to 1993 and served as department chair, will exhibit pen and ink drawings, water colors and oil paintings.

The public is invited to view the free exhibits from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the gallery closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. The exhibits also are open Saturdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The gallery is located on the UCM campus at 217 E. Clark.
