Campus Offices Close for the Holidays, Will Reopen Jan. 5

The UCM campus will close for the winter holiday break on Friday, Dec. 19, with offices reopening Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, and spring semester classes scheduled to begin Jan. 13.

The Carnegians Honor Legacy of Dale Carnegie with Scholarship

Members of the worldwide group of alumni of the Dale Carnegie Course recently presented a gift to the UCM Foundation to endow The Carnegian and Dale Carnegie Scholarship, which will be presented annually to an incoming UCM freshman preparing to study speech communication.

Date Change for Homecoming 2009 Announced

Acting on concerns expressed by Warrensburg city officials and the business community about a conflict with Halloween, UCM will move its 2009 Homecoming celebration from Oct. 31 to Oct. 10.
