Mules Win NCAA-II Regional Championship

WARRENSBURG -03/13//2007 -
The Mules claim their first NCAA-II South-Central Regional Tournament championship since 1995 on Tuesday, March 13 with a 67-54 victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State University at the University of Central Missouri's Multipurpose Building.
Next Stop: The Elite Eight
The Mules never trailed in the game on the way to a spot in the Elite Eight in Springfield, Mass., and a match-up against the University of Montevallo (winner of the South Regional) on Wednesday, March 21.
Jones Leads Mules in Scoring
Theo Jones scored 20 points to pace the attack on Tuesday night, helping the Mules improve to 30-3 and establish a new school record for wins in a season.
