Pep Rally Will Welcome Mules Back from NCAA-II Elite Eight Tourney

WARRENSBURG, MO (March 27, 2009) - The Mules basketball team will be welcomed home from the NCAA-II Elite Eight Tuesday, March 31, with a pep rally in Warrensburg.
Joins us at the Mulitpurpose Building
The rally will begin at 4:30 p.m.at the Multipurpose Building. Campus leaders and community dignitaries will speak, and Coach Kim Anderson and the team will address the crowd as well. The team will sign posters for fans in attendance. The public is invited to attend and share in the celebration of the Mules' outstanding season.
Mules Reach Semifinal Round
The Mules came up short against the top-ranked Findlay Oilers at the NCAA-II Elite Eight on Thursday night in Springfield, Mass., falling 67-65 in a semifinal round game. The Mules, who led by five at the half, will end the season with a 30-5 record.
Watts Leads Four Players in Double Figures
Sanijay Watts led four UCM players in double figures with 18 points, while De'Andre Byrd added 13. Tremaine Luellen and Joe Young both finished with 11 points.
