PAS, Department of Theatre Host Annual Children's Show

WARRENSBURG, MO (Oct. 27, 2008) – Group and individual tickets remain available for Oct. 29-Nov.1 performances of the original children's show, "To the Rescue."

An Original Production Just for Children
UCM's Performing Arts Series and Department of Theatre annually join forces to produce a show just for children. This year's production was written by Joel Moses and T.W.Rothwell and directed by John Wilson.
Conquering Fears
The play focuses on the heroic actions of Samantha, who must conquer her deepest fears and resuce her grandfather from the monsters that lurk in her nightmares. She is joined by friends Brown Bear and Jack, a mysterious wizard, in the battle against Snog and Phizbert, who have taken Grandfather captive.
Matinee Performances Available, Groups Welcome
Matinee performances are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Thursday, Oct. 30; and 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1. An evening performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, also is available to Performing Arts Series season ticket holders. All performances are in Hendricks Hall.
