PAS Brings 'Star Trek Live!' to Hendricks Hall

WARRENSBURG, MO (March 23, 2011) – The University of Central Missouri Performing Arts Series hosts Mad Science Productions presentation “Star Trek Live!” in two performances April 1-2 in Hendricks Hall.

A school matinee performance is planned for 10 a.m. Friday, April 1, with the public performance planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, April 2. “Star Trek Live!” is appropriate for children ages eight and older.
With a shocking invasion of Romulan forces from the future, the newly formed Starfleet Academy of cadets selected from the audience will be whisked to save planet Earth in an adventure steeped in the grand tradition of “Star Trek.” With the help of a time-travelling Vulcan, the Starfleet Commander and his team of rookie cadets must bravely draw on 21st century science and technology to try to defeat the alien forces.
