WARRENSBURG, MO (May 10, 2013) – Military veterans and their spouses are invited to attend the day-long "Return with Purpose" event planned for May 17-18 at the University of Central Missouri. This free program takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days in Elliott Union 235, and is designed to help veterans make an easier transition to civilian life.
"Return with Purpose" incorporates a facilitated change workshop to help veterans successfully transition back to work, family and community. It will help veterans understand how they can design a path to the life they want; identify and remove the barriers to changing their lives; realize their potential; build their own tool kits for personal change through a process of self-discovery; and find a new purpose in life helping other veterans.
The program is sponsored by The Path Finding Group. Anyone who knows veterans who could benefit is urged to share this information with them. Participation is limited, so interested individuals are urged to register as soon as possible. To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Call 314-283-006 for more information.
