Scholars Symposium Celebrates 10th Anniversary March 29

WARRENSBURG, MO (March 28, 2011) – University of Central Missouri undergraduate students will be provided with an opportunity to present their original research during the 10th annual Scholars Symposium planned for Tuesday, March 29.
Following a welcome at 9 a.m. in the James C. Kirkpatrick Library, students will make presentations in three sessions at 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. During Session I, students will present in the areas of Psychology and Sociology, Chemistry and Biology and Art and Design. Session II will feature presentations in Literature, Textiles and Culture I; and Criminal Justice and Anthropology. Session II presentations will be on the topics of Mathematics; Kinesiology, Nutrition and Speech Pathology; and Literature, Textiles and Cultire II.
A reading of short ficition and poetry is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
