Contact: Mike Greife
UCM’s graduating interior design and graphic design students put their best work on display in November with Senior Show Iin the UCM Art Center Gallery. Now the graduating studio and art education majors will present their senior exhibitions in Senior Show II, planned for Nov. 29-Dec. 8.
Studio and art education majors in the Department of Art planning to receive degrees in December will present their work as a degree requirement. Exhibits will feature the best work from their college careers, along with projects developed in collaboration with faculty advisors. Students also will receive valuable feedback from design professionals as they critique student portfolios in conjunction with the exhibit.
The public is invited to meet the young artists during a reception planned for 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the Art Center Gallery.
The gallery, located in the UCM Art Center at 217 E. Clark, is open to the public, free of charge, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday while school is in session. For more information about the gallery or upcoming exhibits, contact Michael Crane, art center gallery director, at 660-543-4498.
