Enjoy the fun and fare of an ocean cruise without leaving Warrensburg as the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center presents the Twilight Stadium Cruise Friday, July 14.
Join the Fun on the S.S. Walton
UCM's Audrey J. Walton Stadium will be transformed into the S.S. Walton from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. KOKO radio DJ Jaggy Jeff will provide music and act as master of ceremonies for the evening's events, and Warrensburg's restaurants will provide food and beverages for those attending. A variety of games also will be available.
Drawing for Real Ocean Cruise
Upon boarding the S.S. Walton, cruise participants will receive a passport. Booths will be set up by chamber members sponsoring the event, and each visit to a booth will result in a ticket punch. Completely punched tickets will be entered into a drawing for a real ocean cruise to be awarded at the end of the evening.
Tickets Available
The event is a fundraiser for the chamber. The public is invited to attend, and current chamber members are encouraged to attend and bring their guests. Tickets are $30 per person and are available at the Greater Warrensburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, 100 S. Holden, or may be purchased at the door. Parking is available in the UCM Multipurpose Building parking lot directly across from Walton Stadium.
