Vendors Sought for Military and Veterans Resource Event

WARRENSBURG, MO (March 5, 2013) – Businesses and organizations offering services to active duty service members and veterans are invited to participate in the second annual Military and Veterans Resource Event Friday, April 5 at the University of Central Missouri.
The registration deadline is Friday, March 22 for vendors wanting to participate. There is no cost to attend or to sponsor a booth during the event. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ballroom of the Elliott Union.
According to Delilah Nichols, coordinator of Military and Veteran Services at UCM, the purpose of the event is to provide individuals who are serving or have served their country information about the different types of resources that are available to them. Vendors from surrounding communities are welcome to participate. A wide range of vendors are sought, including organizations representing military service members, businesses that hire veterans, military benefit organizations, and much more.
Pertinent information will be provided to vendors at the time of registration. A registration form is available online. Individuals who have questions are encouraged to contact Delilah Nichols, Office of Military and Veterans Services, at 660-543-8776.
