Assistant Professor Highland has been a member of Central’s faculty since 2010.

Education
MSN University of Phoenix

BSN Grandview College (Iowa)

Teaching
Trisha teaches Pathophysiology and medical-surgical clinical at the undergraduate level. Her clinical focus is in medical-surgical critical and emergency medicine.

Scholarship
Trisha is interested in research on mental health issues, community health and medical-surgical nursing.

Professional Involvement
Trisha is active in professional nursing organizations including The Missouri Nurses Association (MONA), American Nurses Association (ANA) and Sigma Theta Tau International.

Service
Trisha is actively involved at the departmental level and serving on the Scholarship Committee.
