System Availability and Maintenance
The following systems are made available 24 hours/day, 7 days/week:
- Infrastructure
- UCMO Domain
- Google Apps @ UCM
- University Web Site/Home Page
- MyCentral
- Blackboard
The standard maintenance window is
- 10:30 pm Thursday until 12:30 am Friday
- 6:00 am until noon Sunday
Blackboard has a maintenance window of 2 am to 6 am Saturdays as dictated by the hosting agency. This is the period of least use for Blackboard, and most of the maintenance conducted during this window does not affect end-user accounts or use of the system.
When major service interruptions occur outside of the standard maintenance windows. the Office of Technology communicates with users via email, the UCM Daily, the UCM Weekly, and other methods as appropriate. If you have any questions about a scheduled or an unscheduled service interruption, please contact the Technology Support Center.
