Welcome to the University of Central Missouri.

As a new UCM faculty/staff member, you will have three sets of ID/passwords to remember: MyCentral, Network, and Google Apps (your e-mail program). Faculty members are also provided with a Blackboard account. You will use your network id and password to access this. You can reach this site directly at https://courses.ucmo.edu.

Two things to always remember on the UCM campus: Your 700#, and your Network ID. Your Network ID is generally your last name or a combination of your first initial and last name.

MyCentral - http://mycentral.ucmo.edu

You will receive your MyCentral log in, also referred to as your 700#, and password during your new faculty/staff orientation. If you did not receive this, contact the Technology Support Center for assistance.

Network ID

You will NOT BE ABLE TO LOG IN to any networked PCs/Macs on campus, or the UCM WiFi Secure without the user name/network ID and secure password created for you before your arrival on campus. Your supervisor should provide this on your first day in your new position. If, for some reason, they do not have this information, please contact the Technology Support Center and they will assist you.

Your password will contain an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number between 0 and 9, and a special character. The special characters allowed are only: ~ ! ^ . * _ - [{ ]} Your password MUST BE BETWEEN 9 AND 14 CHARACTERS IN LENGTH. If at any time you want to change your password, you may do so at the following web site: https://pam.ucmo.edu. This web page can only be reached on the UCM campus. You will be asked to log in using your current network user name and ID. You may then change your password. It must still follow the above guidelines.

Google Apps at UCM(Gmail) - http://mail.ucmo.edu

Your e-mail address will be your network id followed by @ucmo.edu (ex. mjones@ucmo.edu). To log in to your account for the first time, you will use your network id in the Username field (do not use @ucmo.edu). Your password has been created by the accounts team at UCM and has been provided to you by your supervisor. If, for some reason, they do not have this information, please contact the Technology Support Center and they will assist you.

If at any time you have trouble logging in to any of your University accounts, please feel free to contact the Technology Support Center at 660-543-4357.
