Arts Education Outreach Program
Workshops, Field Trips, and more!
The Performing Arts Series at the University of Central Missouri fulfills its vision of “Enhancing Education Through The Arts” by providing performances, workshops and master classes through our Arts Education Outreach Program. These opportunities are open to K-12 and UCM students. National studies have consistently shown that exposing our youth to the performing arts has:
- Increased academic performance
- Reduced absenteeism
- Boosted skill levels
So take a look at what the PAS has to offer – you’ll be amazed at what you can discover as we continue to “Enhance Education Through The Arts!”

In addition to our daytime opportunities, we encourage educational groups to attend evening Performing Arts Series performances. Our student rates (UCM and 0-18) are always 50% off the normal ticket price, and all UCM students can purchase tickets during Student Rush -- thirty minutes prior to the start of the performance -- for just $5 at the door (subject to availability).
When requested, we can provide teachers with program information in advance to encourage excitement for the upcoming performances among the theatre enthusiasts in their classes. Email us at pas@ucmo.edu or by calling 660-543-4263 for more information.
