Why Do We Need You?

Our volunteers are the greatest assets of the Performing Arts Series. They ensure that all Hendricks Hall guests are taken care of from the moment they enter our doors. In order for you or your group to become a member of the PAS Volunteer Club, you must simply commit to volunteering for at least one performance during the season, whether it is an evening performance or a children's day-time performance. Volunteers are relied upon as ushers, ticket takers, greeters, reception helpers, and in general to provide phenomenal customer service throughout a performance. As a member of the PAS Volunteer Club, you become a representative of the UCM Performing Arts Series. But most of all, we want our ushers to smile, be inviting and enjoy themselves!

Membership Benefits

Each member of the PAS Volunteer Club will receive a free ticket to the performance(s) for which he/she volunteers. All Volunteer Club members will be listed in the performance handbills. The list will be updated as the season progresses. Additionally, you will be invited to attend all private events or receptions and will be treated to a PAS Volunteer Club appreciation event at the conclusion of the season! Volunteering at performances can also be considered community service and fulfils various requirements!

Group Membership

By coordinating your group to become PAS Volunteer Club members, you are eligible to receive a plaque on stage and receive recognition for your support. Not only does this provide positive exposure for your group, but it can serve as a great social outing for your office, church, family, student group or civic organization.
