SALE SITE AUCTION DATE AND TIME
The auction will be in the the GENERAL SERVICES BUILDING, 108 W. SOUTH STREET. Due to the building being scheduled for demolition, all items must be removed no later than 12:00 noon March 14, 2014. No exceptions.
ITEMS TO BE SOLD INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Misc. furniture and office equipment, desk, chairs, tables, misc. flooring, electrical, HVAC, carpenter, automotive, welding, plimbing.
STATE AND LOCAL TAXES WILL BE COLLECTED, WHERE APPLICABLE, UNLESS CASHIER IS FURNISHED A TAX EXEMPTION NUMBER. NO GUARANTEES OF ANY KIND EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY CENTRAL. PROPERTY SOLD "AS IS, WHERE IS”. CENTRAL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS. PAYMENT MUST BE MADE DURING THE SALE OR IMMEDIATELY UPON COMPLETION. CENTRAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS.
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL BIDDERS: You will be granted tax exempt status only if you provide a current tax exemption letter. If in doubt, please bring one or call 660-543-4001 to confirm. You are cautioned to bid only on those items you are prepared to pay for and remove in accordance with the terms and conditions of the sale. All items awarded to you as the high bidder are contractually yours and must be paid for and removed within the time period allowed by this notification. The purchaser agrees that in the event he fails to pay for the property or remove the same within the prescribed period of time, Central at its election and upon notice of default will be entitled to retain (or collect) as liquidated damages, a sum equal to the greater of (A) 20% of the total purchase price of the item(s) as to which the default has occurred or (B) $25.00, or the purchase price of such item(s) if the purchase price is less than $25.00.
Buyer Registration: Buyers must register with officials at the sale site to obtain terms and conditions of sale and bidder's number. COMPLETE LIST OF ITEMS BEING SOLD WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UPON REGISTRATION.
The property may be inspected Monday, March 10, 2014 from 8 a. m. to 4:00 p.m. (closed 1 hr. at noon) and Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Full payment must be made
during or immediately after sale!
