Assistant Professor of Psychology
Katie Jacobs earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership from William Jewell College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She completed her predoctoral internship in professional psychology at the APA-Accredited Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (ISD). Research interests include school-based youth suicide prevention, measurement development, and program evaluation.Clinical interests include parent consultation, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), social/emotional/behavioral assessments, and systematic interventions.
