Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith earned a B.S. (1968) in education and an MS (1973) in psychology and counselor education from The Kansas State College of Pittsburg and a Ph.D. (1976) in educational psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Scholarly Interests
His research interests include the development and evaluation of computerized psychological tests and the development of an instrument to be used by psychology instructors for the purpose of textbook selection. He is a certified school psychological examiner, serves as a consultant to the public schools and works as an impartial hearing officer for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Department of Family Services, Rehabilitation Services for the Blind. He is also a faculty sponsor for the Psychology Club.
