Why you should consider UCM:
UCM is more than an education, it is an experience. From the moment you get on campus, you are immersed in educational and social opportunities that foster both personal and professional growth.
Why I came to Central Missouri:
I choose UCM because it offered the right combination of education, service, and opportunity. I knew that I would receive a valuable degree on a personalized level because of the small class sizes. Additionally, the assortment of student organizations and various ways to get involved appealed to me because I could connect with the campus community on a large scale while also having individualized experiences.
Best tips for a student transferring to UCM:
Get involved! The best way to ensure a successful transition to UCM is to really immerse yourself in the university and all that UCM has to offer! With more than 250 student organizations and regular campus wide events, there is no shortage of entertainment and engagement at UCM.
What I wish I would have known:
Involvement opportunities! I did not start getting involved until my Junior year at UCM because I was unaware of the possibilities available to me. Once I found the right fit of education and extracurricular activities, it transformed my collegiate experience. Getting a jump start on student involvement will help you make the most of every moment at UCM.
