Good Academic Standing
Students who have both a cumulative GPA and UCM GPA of at least a 2.00 are considered to be in good academic standing. A minimum of a 2.00 is required in both of these GPAs to qualify for graduation. In addition, students must maintain a minimum 2.00 in both major and minor required courses .
Some majors, minors, and degree programs may require a GPA greater than 2.00 and/or require a grade of C or higher in specific major/minor and/or general education courses. Students should refer to their Central Degree audit and Undergraduate Catalog for particular major, minor, general education, and degree GPA requirements. Additional questions can be directed to Department Chairs or Academic Advisors.
