Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (SW-PBS)
How can your school participate in the Missouri SWPBS Network?
There is a formal application process for schools interested in beginning the Schoolwide PBS journey in the 2012-2013 school year.
Step 1: Attend Administrator Overview of Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support at theCentral RPDC in Warrensburg. If you are unable to attend you may or arrange an overview of SWPBS at your school building.
After the overview of SWPBS, the Missouri SWPBS Network application packet will be explained and given to administrators.
Step 2: The local Regional SWPBS Consultants will schedule a time to come to the individual school(s) to provide staff with an overview of Schoolwide PBS. This will allow staff an opportunity to learn about the benefits of SWPBS and for the administrator to later determine if there is 80% buy-in at the staff level.
Step 3: Interested schools will need to complete the required activities and documents in the application and submit to local RPDC Consultant..
