Special Education is no longer a parallel system of education to general education. The primary focus of special education professional development is "every child education".
Special Education Improvement Consultants can provide the following support for schools or
districts:
- Link instructional strategies to student needs through the use of data
- Multi Tiered Systems of Support (RtI) customized to individual buildings
- Train and facilitate Co-teaching teams
- Provide information regarding special education processes and issues
- Middle School and High School Post Secondary Transition
