Who is the Missouri Safety Center?
The Commission on Higher Education in collaboration with the Governor's Traffic Safety Coordinating Committee established the Missouri Safety Center on July 1, 1967. The Center is an organization, dedicated to injury prevention specifically in the area of highway and traffic safety. It draws together State and local agencies, business and industry, safety professionals, University personnel and the public-at-large in efforts to reduce deaths and injuries on Missouri’s highways. Center activities include programs of instruction, research, publications, public information, as well as, conferences and special services. Top
The Center utilizes a staff of specialists offering programs including but not limited to; beginner and advanced driver education, breath alcohol instrument training and maintenance, commercial vehicle license examiner training, crash investigation and reconstruction, motorcycle safety, pupil transportation, sobriety checkpoint supervision, standard field sobriety testing, traffic safety observational surveys and several other courses and services. The Center is also an approved provider for the Missouri Department of Public Safety’s, Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) program. Top
Administrative Offices
The Center's administrative offices are housed on the spacious and beautiful campus of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri. The Center's suite of offices are located in the Humphrey's building (Suite 200) directly on the quadrangle of the main campus. Top

How do I enroll in a course/program/conference?
Depending on what you are enrolling in – there are options at the bottom of each specific course, program, or conference web page for enrollment options. Typically you have the option to enroll on-line or download, print, fill out and return (fax or mail) an enrollment form, or call our main office at 800-801-3588. Please ensure that you are using the proper form or process for the function of interest. “One form does not fit all!” Top

Unfortunately, no. The only people and vehicles that are allowed on the facility are those participating in an on-going training program. Top
How will I know if a class is cancelled do to weather?
If you enrolled electronically, you will receive an email notification. However, our website has a link for up-to-date cancellation notices Cancellation/Reschedule Notices . Top
How will I know if my enrollment was confirmed?
Once you’ve enrolled in any function the MSC offers you will receive a letter of confirmation and, if you enrolled on-line, you will also receive an e-mail confirmation. Top
