Renewal Criteria for UCM Scholarships Awarded Prior to Fall 2008
A+ Scholarship |
Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and achieve a minimum overall 3.25 grade-point average upon completion of the second semester and every semester thereafter. The A+ Scholarship may be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
Academic Excellence Scholarship |
Value: $750 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and achieve a minimum overall 3.25 grade-point average upon completion of the second semester and every semester thereafter.The Academic Excellence Scholarship may be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
Board of Governors' Scholarship |
Value: $2000 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). |
Distinguished Scholarship |
Value: $2500 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and achieve a minimum overall 3.50 grade-point average upon completion of the second semester and every semester thereafter.The Distinguished Scholarship may be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
Midwest Student Exchange Program |
Value: 50% of the non-resident portion of the student's fees. Students are responsible for the remaining 50% of the non-resident portion of the fees plus the in-state tuition rate. Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), maintain a minimum overall grade point average of 3.25 and maintain residency in Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota or Wisconsin. |
Non-Resident Scholar Award |
Value: $1000 per semester for non-residents of Missouri(to be used only for payment of non-resident fees). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM,remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and achieve a minimum overall 3.25 grade-point average upon completion of the second semester and every semester thereafter. The Non-Resident Scholar Award may be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship |
Value: $1000 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and maintain a minimum overall grade-point average of 3.25. The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship may be received for a maximum of six (6) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
President's Scholarship |
Value: $1500 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). |
Provost's Scholarship |
Value: $750 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and maintain a minimum overall grade-point average of 3.50. The Provost's Scholarship may be received for a maximum of six (6) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
Second Generation Scholarship Earned as an Incoming Freshman |
Value: $2000 per semester for non-residents of Missouri who are children or grandchildren of UCM alumni (to be used only for payment of non-resident fees). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and achieve a minimum overall 3.25 grade-point average upon completion of the second semester and every semester thereafter. The Second Generation Scholarship may be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
Second Generation Scholarship Earned as a Transfer Student |
Value: $2000 per semester for non-residents of Missouri who are children or grandchildren of UCM alumni (to be used only for payment of non-resident fees). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and maintain a 3.25 or higher overall grade-point average. The Second Generation Scholarship may be received for a maximum of six (6) semesters of undergraduate study. |
Transfer Student Scholarship |
Value: $750 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and maintain a minimum overall grade-point average of 3.25. The Transfer Student Scholarship may be received for a maximum of six (6) semesters of undergraduate study. |
University Scholarship |
Value: $1000 per semester (to be used only for the payment of University tuition, non-resident fees, campus housing, and meal plan costs). Renewability: Automatically renewed for recipients who earn at least 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester at UCM, remain in good academic standing (not on academic probation), and achieve a minimum overall 3.25 grade-point average upon completion of the second semester and every semester thereafter. The University Scholarship may be received for a maximum of eight (8) semesters of undergraduate study at UCM. |
