Dr. Shari Bax
Dr. Bax completed her B.A. degree from University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and earned her M.A and Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, with specialization in American government and politics, public administration, and research methods. In 1997, she joined the faculty at the University of Central Missouri. She has taught classes in American government and politics, state government and politics, public administration, municipal administration, research methods, and policy. Throughout her career at Central, Dr. Bax has advised several student organizations. She currently is a campus advisor for the Student Government Association, the university’s Sue Shear Fellows to the 21st Century Leadership Academy, and is the campus coordinator for the American Democracy Project. She is a co-advisor for the student group, Breakers, and as such has accompanied students on an alternative Spring Break trip for Habitat for Humanity for nine years. In 2012, Dr. Bax was appointed to a new position, as the Vice Provost of Student Experience and Engagement. A Warrensburg resident since 1997, she has served two terms on the Warrensburg Planning and Zoning Commission, and currently serves on the advisory committee for the Early Childhood Opportunity Center. In 2001, she served as a member of the Missouri House Apportionment Commission. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, and attending soccer games with her family.
Dr. Corey Bowman
Dr. Bowman is the Associate Vice Provost for Student Services/Title IX Coordinator. Before coming to UCM, Corey worked as both a hall director and academic advisor at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Since 1996, Corey has worked at UCM in a variety of areas including Residence Life, the University Union, and Facilities and Conference Services. He works closely with the Missouri Boys State and Missouri Girls State leadership programs on behalf of UCM. In his current role, Corey's primary responsibility is to oversee the campus judicial system, student services, parent relations, campus advocate, and the university’s Suspension/Waiver retention program. He works closely with students, parents and faculty on campus issues and student appeals. Corey has taught in the College Student Personnel Administration program since 2001.
Bowman earned his doctorate in educational leadership and policy analysis at the University of Missouri - Columbia. He also studied at Miami University in Ohio, where he received a master's degree in college student personnel services and a bachelor's degree in sociology.
Mrs. Keri Busker
Busker started her time with the UCM team in March of 2007. She currently works as the receptionist and office professional for the Office of Student Experience and Engagement (SEE).

Ms. Deborah (Debbie) Noland
Noland first began her time at UCM in 1984 in what is now the Office of Student Experience and Engagement. she serves as the Administrative Assistant for Dr. Corey Bowman, the Associate Vice Provost for Student Experience and Engagement (SEE).

Mrs. Gretchen Reynolds
Reynolds has been a part of the UCM Community since 2004. Currently, she serves as the Administrative Assistant for Dr. Shari Bax, the Vice Provost for Student Experience and Engagement (SEE).
