Graduate Degrees: Master of Arts in Teaching (Secondary School and Middle School Options)
To meet the rapidly growing need for qualified teachers in Missouri’s classrooms, University of Central Missouri has developed a new approach and a new degree.
The Master of Arts in Teaching is designed to provide pedagogical instruction and didactics training for students interested in earning a master degree and a teaching certificate.
The Master of Arts in Teaching degree will provide individuals who have met undergraduate degree qualifications and alternative pathways to certification requirements, the information and skills in best practice instruction to become master teachers. Master of Arts in Teaching courses are offered online, at Summit Center, or on the main campus to provide working/teaching adults opportunities to complete their degrees in an economical and timely manner.
