HCSA Committee Charges
Honors College members may contact The Honors College office to sign up for committees.
The function of the Social Committee is to organize events and social gatherings for HCSA. This committee shall have a chair or two co-chairs who work together with interested individuals to organize social events. The chair(s) should plan events with the other members of the Social Committee. Dates and times of events should be discussed with the HCSA Executive Board.
The function of the Recruitment Committee is to provide an honors student's point of view at recruiting functions. The ultimate goal is to increase the enrollment of students in The Honors College. This committee shall have a chair or two co-chairs who work together with other honors students for recruiting functions. Dates and times of events will be provided by the Dean of The Honors College.
Public Relations Committee:
The function of the Public Relations Committee is to promote a positive image for The Honors College. This committee shall have a chair or two co-chairs. Members will create posters announcing upcoming HCSA events and will display the posters on campus and in all residential halls at least one week prior to the events.
The monthly newsletter of The Honors College is always looking for contributors to write articles or columns. Honorably Speaking is the primary vehicle for communicating Honors activities to Honors College members. Monthly submission deadlines will be provided by the Honorably Speaking editor.
