That 70s Show - Faculty Style
As Central Missouri welcomed a new group of first-year students and future alumni to campus this semester, it also bid farewell to several faculty and staff members who contributed to making the institution a great place to learn and to work. Six of 15 individuals retiring each celebrated approximately 30 years of service to the university.

A Sonic Connection between Two Worlds
Eric Honour, associate professor of music, has brought together the musical traditions of two eras in the history of the world to create a composition that has gained him national recognition. Honour's composition, Dreamtime, features the tones of the didgeridoo, a primitive aboriginal instrument from Australia made of a hollowed length of eucalyptus wood.

State of the University Address Sets Stage for Change
To quote singer/songwriter Bob Dylan, "Those not busy being born are busy dying." With these words, University of Central Missouri President Aaron Podolefsky set the stage for a year of progress and change when he presented his State of the University Address, Aug. 22, in Hendricks Hall.
