From Mule to King, Lewis Succeeding in Entertainment World
In the entertainment capital of the world where Elvis impersonators are as common as popcorn at a movie theatre, a Central Missouri alumnus is one shake, rattle, and roll above the rest. A near-capacity crowd in Hendricks Hall discovered why USA Today named Matt Lewis "Best Elvis in Las Vegas" when he brought his traveling stage show to campus this fall.

Julie Bell-Elkins makes life better for college students. Currently assistant to the vice president of student affairs at the University of Connecticut, Bell-Elkins maintains substantial experience in student-centered services. She's been the assistant dean of student services and multicultural affairs, director of social issues and wellness, and assistant director of residential life for residential education.

Holtmeyer Honored as UCM Debate Alumnus of the Year
Richard Holtmeyer's degree in political science prepared him for law school, but it was his participation as a UCM Talking Mule that gave him the valuable experience needed to pursue his chosen career.  Holtmeyer was recently honored as the first recipient of the UCM Debate Alumni of the Year Award.
