Budwines Fund Scholarship to Honor a Friend and Help Students in Chemistry, Agriculture
UCM junior Jamie Hunt grew up on the family farm and wants a career focusing on artificial insemination and embryo transfer in the livestock industry. Although certification in the specialized field does not require a college degree, she knows she will need one to be competitive. The W.J. and Lela Budwine Foundation Charles Simmons Scholarship in Chemistry and Agriculture is helping her achieve that goal.

Koiers Leave Half Million Dollar Estate Gift
The University of Central Missouri has received a half million dollar gift from the late William and June Koier. Koier, a UCM alumnus who built a successful career as a private investor and real estate developer, and his wife, June, left the university $513,340 through their estate.
