Max B. Swisher Skyhaven Airport

Donated in 1966 by Max B. Swisher, inventor and owner of the Swisher Mower and Machine Company, University of Central Missouri’s airport is the only such facility owned and operated by a Missouri public university. Located three miles west of Warrensburg on U.S. Highway 50, it currently boasts two lighted and paved runways, an aircraft parking apron, a flight center, five hangars, and a classroom building.
