International Student Health Insurance Plan
International Students Are Required to have Health Insurance
International students are required by university policy to have health insurance, and each student is automatically enrolled in the International Student Health Plan when they enroll in classes at UCM.
The student health policy year is from August 1 to July 31 the following year. Benefits include prescription drugs, outpatient and inpatient care up to the policy limits. "The plan can be viewed online at www.uhcsr.com and click on Find My School's Plan in the middle of the page, then in the blank next to School/Association Name type 'University of Central Missouri' and click search.There are some things that are not covered by the policy and all students are strongly encouraged to read the policy. Parent/Guardian Consent to Treat Form
All students under the age of 18 years old must have this form signed by a Legal Guardian or Parent. This form gives the University Health Center consent to treat the student, if needed. *Age is based on the U.S. legal definition of date of birth.
